Holonist is an open-world interactive music platform designed for immersive, perceptually driven sonic explorations. With Holonic’s groundbreaking spatial computing technology and the miRack™ modular synthesis engine, users can craft highly dynamic music that reacts to environmental cues, personal activities, and various contextual elements, leading to hyperlocal and personal music encounters.
By utilizing built-in sensors and optional wearables, Holonic enables users to transform real-world data, such as gestures and heart rate, into musical expressions. You can elevate your existing instruments or physical surroundings with sensors, or venture out from the studio to control your miRack™ compositions based on your movements through cities using variables like step rate, heading, altitude, speed, weather conditions, time of day, location type, and proximity.
The Holonic platform incorporates a database covering over 500 regions across nearly 100 countries, comprising 20 million nodes sourced from OpenStreetMap. This extensive data pool includes amenities, eateries, stores, public transport hubs, attractions, and more. Through Holonist, users can now produce music that mirrors the characteristics of their immediate surroundings and infuse musical possibilities into physical locations.
